I am the worst at taking these mirror shots. I don’t know why it’s so hard for me. BUT IT IS! I can never seem to get the angle right.
I got back from visiting my mom in West Virginia today. It was a nice trip but it is good to be home and back to routine. Also, my dog stresses everyone out (including her dog) and I always feel guilty.
I got to relax, work out, hang out with my sister and meet her new duder, drink my mom’s homemade Meade, watch Rhys have fun with his grandparents, and basically just not have to worry about much.
One day I wandered around town a little bit and popped into a new second hand store. I found the leopard print cardigan I am wearing for $6!! Such a score, especially because I’d been looking for the perfect leopard print cardigan for forever and would have been willing to shell out more than that for it. I had almost left empty handed and it caught my eye as I was out the door. A gift from the Universe, maybe.
I also found a shop to consign some of my vintage clothes at which is exciting and totally made my day. I hope people like my stuff!!
My mom got me the Klimt Water Snakes painting I’ve been coveting as a Valentine’s Day gift and I can’t stop staring at it (it’s in my bedroom right above my bed). Something about it is very calming to me.
I’ve had a packaged dream catcher collecting dust on a shelf for a long time and never knew what to do with it. I was thinking about putting it on Freecycle or giving it to Goodwill. Tonight a lightbulb went off in my head: Hey, you have frequent nightmares. Hey, you should just put this damn thing above your bed and hope for the best. Couldn’t hurt!! So I did. Now I hope I dream of nothing but flying puppies and midnight rides on Totoro belly. Or something. Don’t fail me, cheap dream catcher!
